It is published 4 (four) times a year every March, June, September, and December. Registered with p-ISSN printed serial number 2338-0861, and also registered with e-ISSN online serial number 2621–8712 Spektrum Communication Journal serves as a reference for scholars in developing science, particularly Communications.
Spektrum Communication Journal has been working with ASPIKOM (Asosiasi Perguruan Tinggi Ilmu Komunikasi) as an Association of the College of Communication Sciences to improve the quality of substantial articles. Spektrum Communication Journal also working with APJIKI (Asosiasi Penerbit Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi Indonesia) as an Indonesian Journal of Communication Journal Publisher Association. In September 2019 Spektrum Communication Journal has signed an MoU with ISKI East Java (Ikatan Sarjana Komunikasi Indonesia-Jawa Timur) as a bachelor's degree association in communication science in East Java-Indonesia.
